A deeply moving devotional scapular honouring Christ Crowned with Thorns and the Sorrowful Heart of Mary, uniting the Passion of Our Lord with the profound sorrow and compassion of His Blessed Mother.
One panel depicts Jesus crowned with thorns, recalling the humiliation and suffering He willingly endured for our redemption. The other portrays the Sorrowful Heart of Mary pierced by a sword, recalling Simeon’s prophecy and the profound sorrow Our Lady experienced as she witnessed the Passion and death of her Divine Son.
Together, the images encourage the wearer to meditate upon the Passion of Christ and the Sorrows of Our Lady, and to unite their own crosses and sufferings with Jesus and Mary in faith and prayer.
Each scapular is individually handcrafted from 100% virgin wool, with the sacred images carefully sewn onto the wool panels. A discreet pocket on the reverse allows small devotional medals to be placed inside and carried with the wearer, adding a special and personal element to the scapular.
