A beautiful devotional scapular honouring Saint Bernadette Soubirous and Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, recalling the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary at Lourdes and the humble young woman chosen to receive them.
One panel depicts Saint Bernadette Soubirous, whose simplicity, humility and steadfast faith continue to inspire the faithful. The other portrays Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, the title by which the Blessed Virgin identified herself to Bernadette during the apparitions at Lourdes.
Together, the images recall the message of Lourdes — prayer, penance, conversion and trust in Our Lady’s maternal intercession — encouraging the wearer to imitate Saint Bernadette’s humble faith and allow the Blessed Virgin to lead them closer to Christ.
Each scapular is individually handcrafted from 100% virgin wool, with the sacred images carefully sewn onto the wool panels. A discreet pocket on the reverse allows small devotional medals to be placed inside and carried with the wearer, adding a special and personal element to the scapular.
