Children’s Brown Scapular of the Child Jesus and the Guardian Angel

A tender children’s Brown Scapular featuring the Child Jesus and a Guardian Angel watching over a sleeping baby, beautifully expressing childlike trust in Our Lord and confidence in the protection of the guardian angels.

One panel depicts the Child Jesus, recalling the humility of Our Lord, who entered the world as a little child. His gentle image is especially fitting for children, encouraging them to approach Jesus with simplicity, confidence and love and to grow close to Him from their earliest years.

The other panel portrays a Guardian Angel keeping watch over a sleeping baby, a beautiful reminder of God’s loving providence and the angelic protection entrusted to each soul. It encourages children to develop devotion to their guardian angel and reminds parents that they can continually entrust their little ones to God’s care and protection.

Together, the images express a particularly gentle spirituality of innocence, trust and protection, placing the child under the loving care of Jesus while encouraging devotion to the Guardian Angel who accompanies them throughout life.

The scapular is individually handcrafted from 100% merino wool, with the sacred images carefully sewn onto the brown wool panels. A discreet pocket is incorporated into the back of the scapular, allowing a favourite devotional medal to be placed inside and carried close to the wearer.

Each scapular comes with its own keepsake teddy bear wearing a “My First Brown Scapular” T-shirt. The teddy’s T-shirt is personalised with the child’s name, with a choice of pink or blue embroidery, creating a special Catholic keepsake made especially for them.

As each scapular is individually handmade and each teddy is personalised, slight variations in finish may occur.
